Adventure at Mt Buller January 2019
We woke one morning to views of fires on Little Mount Buller easily visible from our balcony.  Very impressed with the work of the firefighters and the aircraft which bombed the fire day and night.  All turned out well in the end.  The painting below is my representation of the event.

Best Watercolour at the Harcourt "Applefest" Art Show 2018
This art show restricts entry to small paintings (less than 400mm including frame). I thought this small en plein air study of a derelict ute from Nick Truscot's place would be ideal.  Flattered that it won best watercolour, when there were so many other worthy paintings.

Charlton Rotary Art Show 2016

Very flattered to receive the award "Best Watercolour" for my painting "Road-side Glimpse, Mt Tarengower", and also pleased that it found a new home. I regularly travelled to Baringhup in 2015 and 2016 to paint with the "Baringhup Landscapers". This view was very much a part of my life over that time.

Artists painting in the street for the Heathcote Art Show
June 2016

This was great fun and a good chance to meet visitors to the Heathcote Wine Festival.  Good that Maxine (Wade) and Ben (Winspear) also joined in and made the day all the more enjoyable.
